It is well known that volatile basic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and amine are usually generated by festering fish and meat.
These basic nitrogen compounds are considered to breed foul and uncomfortable odor and taste of Chlorella.
The above figures are obtained by the same method that these volatile basic nitrogen compounds are usually measured by.
As shown in the above column, Yaeyama Chlorella gives a much lower figure in the test result than Tank Cultivated Chlorella.
Many other samples, all Tank Cultivated, show even 4-digit figures (mg) in the generation of volatile basic nitrogen.
This comparison chart tells that Yaeyama Chlorella smells and tastes better than the other chlorella group, Tank Cultivated.
